Valet Parking Covid Safe Measures
Our Valet Parking attendants practise safe measures including use of disposable gloves, changed after every vehicle, wiping down touchpoints including steering wheel, gear lever, door handles and keys in addition to regular hand sanitisation.
Payments are contactless by eftpos or credit card only.

Valet Parking is located on level P1 of Carpark A (Lower Ground, David Jones Car Park), easily accessed off Chadstone Road.
Entering via Chadstone Rd, drive up and before the roundabout turn left down the ramp

Where is Valet Parking located?
How much does Valet Parking cost?
Valet Parking is $20 per visit on weekdays* and $40 per visit on weekends and public holidays
(*Weekday rates do not apply when a public holiday falls on a weekday. Public holiday rates apply)
How does Valet Parking work?
Valet Parking is a ticketless system. You will receive an SMS rather than a ticket. This allows you to request your vehicle, request parcel collections and collect your vehicle.
How do I collect my vehicle?
Prior to returning to Valet Parking, notify our team in advance. Open the SMS, tap the link and select to have your car ready for you in 5, 10 or 15 minutes. The car will be ready and waiting for you when you return. Simply show the team your SMS and make payment
My mobile phone battery has died. How do I collect my vehicle?
Present to the Valet Parking desk and confirm the details we collected on arrival. You may be asked to produce photo ID. Note that shopping parcel collection will not be available if your mobile phone is not working.
When is Valet Parking open?
What happens if I am staying for dinner and a movie and wish to leave after Valet Parking has closed?
Return to the desk during trading hours to make payment and collect your key. The gate will let you out when you are ready to leave.
Do I need to make a booking to use Valet Parking?
No. There are no bookings for valet parking, for your convenience it's a drive up service. Note that Valet Parking is subject to availability.
Does Valet Parking ever get full?
On rare occasions, this can happen for brief periods as it is a limited space - just like any carpark. Our team will manage traffic to allow vehicles in as other vehicle depart
How does the loyalty program work?
Every 5 paid* visits earns 1 free visit.
*Applies to full rate visits – promotional offer rates and complimentary prize visits do not earn loyalty visits
Do I need to register for the loyalty program?
No need – this calculates automatically with each paid visit. Our team will let you know that you have earned a free visit and will apply it for you.
I have more than one vehicle. How does this affect my loyalty visit accrual?
Each visit is tied to your vehicle by licence plate via our License Plate Recognition technology on entry. Therefore, loyalty visits are earned per vehicle.
Can the loyalty visits be transferred from one vehicle to another?
No. A loyalty visit can only be redeemed when visiting in the vehicle that earned it.
How does parcel collection service work?
Just let the store staff know you have parked at Valet Parking and would like to leave your parcels for collection. Show them your SMS so they can see your unique Valet Tag ID, then tap the link to let the team know which store and how many bags. The parcels will be collected and placed directly in your car.
Note - department stores have designated drop off locations at their customer service desk
Are there any items that will not be collected?
Fresh food / perishable items and loose items cannot be collected. Ask our team for more information. Very large items with specific manual handling requirements may need home delivery arranged directly with the store of purchase.
*All items for collection must be in a shopping bag or trolley to ensure the security of all of your items. Our team are unable to collect items that are not prepared for easy transportation.
If I have not left parcels in a store, but decide that I no longer wish to carry them, can I drop them off at Valet Parking to place in my vehicle?
Yes you can. The team will confirm your details and number of items with you, register them and place them in your vehicle.
Is there an extra charge for the parcel collection service?
No. It is included in the Valet Parking rate everyday
Can I arrange a car wash through Valet Parking?
Yes you can. The Valet team will inform you of the menu of wash services available to select from and a sparkling car will be ready and waiting for you on departure. You simply pay for both the valet service and wash in one transaction.
Can I exit and return more than once in a single day?
Valet Parking is charged per visit. 2 visits in a single day will incur 2 charges and so on, as it is a per visit price.
Is there a time limit in Valet Parking?
Valet Parking is based per visit on a single day and not timed. Therefore, the price is the same whether you stay for 1 hour or 5. Additional charges will apply however, if a vehicle is left overnight as the following day is treated as an additional visit.
I PARTICIPATED IN THE ‘BE REWARDED AT CHADSTONE PROMOTION’ – HOW DO I CLAIM AND USE MY ONE MONTH COMPLIMENTARY VALET?
Following government direction, from Thursday 6 August, only essential stores and services will be open for you to shop for the products and services you need. This means that Chadstone’s Valet service is not operating during this time.
The validity of your one month complimentary Valet pass will therefore be extended to ensure you can enjoy the convenience of Valet parking including parcel pick up, until 31 December 2020. This service will resume from 1 October 2020.
Please be assured that your $50 Chadstone Gift Card has 3 years validity and will not be affected by this change.
