CHADSTONE TOURIST SHUTTLE

Bookings are recommended to ensure your seat on the shuttle at your desired time of travel, however passengers without a reservation can travel if enough seats are available. All passengers travelling on the shuttle require their own individual seat.

Yes, there are luggage bays at the rear of the shuttle above the rear wheels for the carriage of folded prams.

There are overhead lockers above each seat in the shuttle for smaller items, and the luggage bays above the rear wheels for larger items. Passengers should always carry valuable and/or fragile items on their person as neither the shuttle provider nor Chadstone can accept any responsibility for damaged or lost luggage.

Yes, the Chadstone Tourist Shuttle is fully DDA compliant.

No, children 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Smoking and consuming food and drinks are not permitted on the Tourist Shuttle, or within 5 metres of the shuttle doors. Customers may be refused boarding, or may be removed from the shuttle, if, in the reasonable opinion of the shuttle driver, are affected by alcohol and/or drugs.

Pets and other animals are not permitted on board any shuttle service except for guide or assistance dogs.

The journey typically takes 20-25 minutes but could be either shorter or longer depending on traffic and road conditions.

Unfortunately, if a passenger misses their booking on the last service of the day to Federation Square, neither the shuttle operator nor Chadstone shall be liable for the payment of alternative transport arrangements or accommodation costs.

There are no allocated seats on the shuttle, it is a first come, first served seating basis for booked passengers.

Please go online and book a seat on the next available service if you are in the Melbourne CBD. If you are already at Chadstone, please either go online and book a seat on the next available service or go to the Visitor Lounge where our friendly staff can book a seat for you. Chadstone is not liable for the payment of alternative transport arrangements in either direction should a seat not be available.

Seat belts are fitted and are required by law to be worn by all passengers, except:

• a passenger who is under one year old is taken to be appropriately secured if the passenger is seated in the lap of another passenger who is 16 years old or older; and
• a passenger who is at least one year old but under seven years old is taken to be appropriately secured if the passenger is occupying a seating position and wearing the seatbelt.

Please be at the designated stop at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled service time to allow for boarding and on time departure. Seats for booked passengers who have not boarded will be released to non-booked passengers at departure time.
