A symbol of rarity, a Paspaley strand is meticulously composed by their Master Pearl Graders. Often years, even decades, in the making, no strand is complete until the perfect combination of pearls is found.

Paspaley pearls are graded in-house by five key quality characteristics, known as the Five Virtues: lustre, complexion, shape, size and colour. Every pearl in a Paspaley pearl strand is assessed by their Master Pearl Graders according to these virtues. During the stringent grading process, pearls are selected for use in matched strands before other jewellery designs, ensuring Paspaley strands are always matched from the first selection of the harvest.
