David Jones BeautyCycle: Your Beauty Packaging, Recycled with Purpose:
David Jones’ BeautyCycle program isn’t just another recycling drop‑box – it’s a dedicated, circular‑beauty initiative tackling hard‑to‑recycle packaging in a meaningful way. At Chadstone alone, the program has diverted 76.44 kg of beauty packaging from landfill, collecting 2,411 units over the past year. Just bring your clean, empty bottles, jars, lipsticks, glosses, compacts, palettes and whatnot to the BeautyCycle box in the beauty department, and the rest is sorted for you via their partnership with TerraCycle. Through this, David Jones fosters a holistic approach to sustainability – reducing waste, educating consumers, and keeping materials in use rather than lost to landfill.

Hairhouse’s Sustainable Salons: Turning Your Visit into Planet‑Positive Action:
Hairhouse X Sustainable Salons is more than just a haircut – it’s a bold sustainability movement built into every appointment. Thanks to the partnership, up to 95% of the resources used during your visit are diverted from landfill, including empty haircare bottles, papers, metals like foil and colour tubes, plastics, and even hair clippings. The waste is collected, sorted and recycled or upcycled via specialist partners, while proceeds help support community causes like OzHarvest and KiwiHarvest. Just bring your used‑up haircare empties (any brand!), drop them off at a participating Hairhouse Sustainable Salons store, and let Hairhouse and its network do the rest – turning what was once waste into a force for good.

Retire Your Bottle, Reignite Its Purpose with Frank Green's Sip Cycle:
Frank Green’s Sip Cycle™ is more than just recycling – it’s a full‑circle lifestyle shift for your water bottle. At Chadstone you’ll find a permanent Sip Cycle station where you can drop off old reusable bottles (of any brand, excluding glass) that are ready to retire. From there, those materials are recycled and transformed into stylish new accessories and lifestyle products – giving bottles a second life rather than letting them end up in landfill. The program makes sustainability easy: if you’ve got a bottle you’re done with, pop it in the Sip Cycle bin and Frank Green handles the rest.

Nespresso’s Capsule Program: Recycling Made Easy:
Nespresso’s Aluminium Coffee Capsule Recycling Program is more than just a green gesture – it’s a full‑cycle solution for those small but frequently used aluminium pods. At Chadstone, bring your used coffee capsules to the drop‑off point in-store. Once collected, the aluminium is separated, sent for smelting and returned to the aluminium industry for reuse, while the coffee grounds are composted or used in landscaping and soil mixes. With this program, Nespresso ensures that every cup of coffee doesn’t end at landfill – but lives on in new materials and useful soil.
