Bottega Veneta’s Spring / Summer 2018 men’s and women’s collections begin with our perennial starting point: Color. The optimistic palette draws from the Marble Room at Kedleston Hall, a grand Palladian-style country house by British architect Robert Adam: the delicate rose of its walls, the ocean-blue in its frescoes and the rich array of swirling hues in its soaring Corinthian marble columns. For Spring / Summer 2018, Bottega Veneta reinvents the Art of Collaboration with its new digital-first ad campaign created with renowned agency Baron & Baron. Titled Reflections, the Spring / Summer 2018 campaign embraces moving images as its core. Envisioned as an anthology series, six distinct and deeply cinematic and films, directed by Fabien Baron, will be released episodically throughout the season via multiple platforms and partners. The still photographs for the print campaign are extracted from these moving images, and the print layout is also cinematic, using repetition of images to evoke motion and to resemble a storyboard.
