80 years of play - the adventure starts here these school holidays
Celebrate 80 years of Mattel at Chadstone with an immersive Barbie and Hot Wheels camp-inspired Mattel Adventure Camp experience. Little campers will meet their counsellor upon check-in and unlock a series of interactive activities from stargazing under the Gridshell roof to making friendship bracelets in the Barbie Dream Camper, and even testing their skills on the Hot Wheels Monster Truck campfire jump.
Complete all activities to receive a limited-edition Chadstone x Mattel Adventure Camp bucket hat, that your kids can decorate and take home.
Located on the Lower Ground Level, outside Target.
10am to 5pm daily (last entry at 4:40pm).
Activities designed for children aged 3–10.
$5 per child ticket. No charge for guardians/parents. T&Cs apply.

DO I NEED TO BOOK FOR MATTEL ADVENTURE CAMP?
Yes, this is a fully bookable experience for $5 per child ticket. Adult tickets are complimentary.
WHAT AGES IS THIS SUITABLE FOR?
The activity is available to children under 15, but recommended for children aged 3-10 years.
Children to be supervised at all times by a parent/guardian.
DO I NEED TO BOOK FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN?
This is a fully bookable experience and all individuals intending to attend (adult and children) must be covered by a booking. Child ticket is $5 each. No charge for guardians/parents.
IS THERE A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT CAN BE A PART OF A BOOKING?
Yes, bookings can take up to six (6) people (maximum 2 adults) per booking.
IS THERE A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF TIMES MY CHILD CAN ATTEND AN ACTIVITY?
Yes, you are only permitted to make Maximum One (1) booking per person.
IS MATTEL ADVENTURE CAMP ACCESSIBLE BY WHEELCHAIR?
Yes. Mattel Adventure Camp is wheelchair accessible. Speak to one of the friendly team members for assistance.
IS THERE PRAM PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes. We ask families to park their prams in the designated pram parking. Please be sure to keep your valuables on you at all times.

WHERE IS THE NEAREST BATHROOM?
The closest bathroom is located between Old Man Pho and Schnitz nearby in Food Central.
Children are permitted to leave the activity to go to the bathroom, however they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your confirmed booking time and have a digital version of your ticket ready for check in. Please be advised we may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
If you arrive earlier, feel free to pick up a coffee from one of the surrounding cafes, while you wait for your time slot.
We recommend planning additional time into your journey to secure a car park and navigate through the centre.

CAN I GET A REFUND?
If we cancel the Activity, you will be entitled to a refund for each ticket you purchased.
If you cancel a session at least 48 hours before the start of a session, we will provide you with a refund for each ticket you purchased.
If you cancel a session within 48 hours of the start of the session, the ticket fee is non-refundable. We may reasonably determine to provide you with a refund pending the circumstances.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REFUND?
It usually takes approximately 10 business days for the amount to appear on your bank account.
WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PARK?
The closest park to the activation is Carpark B. However, for best availability of parking spaces, we recommend parking in Carpark A off Dandenong Road, near David Jones. Click here to view the car park map.

You must be, or become, a Chadstone First member to book this activity. Chadstone First members receive email updates about the latest offers, events and news of what is happening in-centre. When booking for this activity, you will be invited to join Chadstone First if you’re not already a member. You must be 18+ to book. The activity is available to children under 15. All children under 15 years attending the activity must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian or parent. Bookings must be made via https://www.chadstone.com.au/mattel-adventure-camp. Limited walk-ins subject to availability. Bookings cost $5 per child. Limited availability sessions from 20 September – 5 October, 10am – 5pm daily. Each ticket to the activity entitles an individual to a 20 minute session. Please ensure that you do not book for more than 2 parents or guardians per group to ensure sufficient space within the activity. Certain workshops may not be suitable for your child – please refer to recommended ages prior to booking. Workshops may be risky.
