The program includes both free walk‑up activations and premium ticketed experiences. You’ll even be able to try an iconic flavour, available exclusively at The Market Pavilion.

Daily sessions for kids
Guided by expert hosts, kids will journey through immersive rooms, take part in a Sorting Hat moment to uncover their house colours, put their skills to the test with a Potions Class riddle and craft their very own wand to take home. This richly themed, hands‑on workshop is perfect for Harry Potter fans looking for a truly memorable and interactive experience, as well as younger children yet to discover the magic of Harry Potter.

Yes, The Great Hall Kids Sessions and Evening Sessions (Ages 15+) are fully bookable experiences. Walk ups will be accepted, subject to availability.
The Grand Staircase is suitable for all ages however children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The Great Hall Kids Sessions are intended for children ages 3 – 15.

Hogwarts Express experiences are open to all ages.
This is a fully bookable experience and all individuals intending to participate (adult and children) must be covered by a booking.
Yes, bookings can take up to six (6) people (maximum 2 adults) per booking.
Yes, you are only permitted to make Maximum One (1) booking per person.
The Great Hall activity is wheelchair accessible. The Grand Staircase is partially wheelchair accessible. Please speak to one of our friendly team members for assistance at either activity.
Yes. we ask families to park their prams in the designated pram parking. Please be sure to keep your valuables on you at all times.

The kids sessions are for children only. Adult tickets are required for guardian supervision, attending guardians will not participate in or receive the activity.
Evening sessions are available Thursday to Saturday 6-9pm for guests aged 15 and over. Booking is essential. Please visit www.chadstone.com.au/harry-potter for more information.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your confirmed booking time and have a digital version of your ticket ready for check in. Please be advised we may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
If you arrive earlier than 5 minutes to your booking, feel free to pick up a coffee from one of the surrounding cafes, while you wait for your time slot.
We recommend planning additional time into your journey to secure a car park and navigate through the centre to the set.

Your dining voucher must be collected at the Concierge Desk on Ground Level near Michael Hill prior to 9pm on the day of your booking. Please present your booking confirmation email and digital tickets for voucher redemption. Voucher is valid for use until Sunday 3 May 2026.
Harry Potter - The Great Hall – School Holidays Program
You must be, or become, a Chadstone First member to book this activity. Chadstone First members receive email updates about the latest offers, events and news of what is happening in-centre. When booking for this activity, you will be invited to join Chadstone First if you’re not already a member. You must be 18+ to book. The activity is available to children 3+. All children under 15 years attending the activity must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian or parent. Bookings must be made via https://www.chadstone.com.au/harry-potter. Limited walk-ins subject to availability. Bookings cost $5 per child. Limited availability sessions from 4-26 April, 9am – 4:30pm Monday – Saturday, 10am – 5:30pm Sunday and 1-4:30pm ANZAC Day. Each ticket to the activity entitles an individual to a 40-minute session. Please ensure that you do not book for more than 2 parents or guardians per group to ensure sufficient space within the activity. Certain workshops may not be suitable for your child – please refer to recommended ages prior to booking. Workshops may be risky.
