You’re invited to gather around an unforgettable table as Chadstone and Melbourne Food & Wine present the World’s Longest Dinner on Wednesday 17 June.
Inspired by the much-loved World’s Longest Lunch and hosted outside the festival’s traditional program for the first time, this one-night-only experience brings 400 guests together at a spectacular table. Set against the backdrop of one of Chadstone’s most glamorous avenues, the menu will be brought to life with exceptional produce sourced from the gourmet retailers of The Market Pavilion.
The menu is a special collaboration by three of Melbourne's most exciting young chefs. Nat Thaipun, MasterChef Australia winner, Vue de Monde chef, and one of the most followed culinary voices in the country. Audrey Shaw, the architect-turned-chef behind Carnation Canteen and Bar Carnation, brings the kind of seasonal, produce-driven deliciousness that has made her one of the city's most talked-about cooks. And HyoJu Park, former head pastry chef at Attica and founder of cult patisserie Madeleine de Proust, closes the evening with a course that draws on her Korean roots and training in some of the world's best kitchens. This is an evening designed to savour great food, shared moments and the joy of dining together, under the iconic gridshell roof.
